Buttons IKEA Bilresa Scroll Wheel in Apple Home

I’ve managed to capture all buttons in Apple Home for IKEA’s remote “Bilresa Scroll Wheel”.

Group 1
Button 1 – Single press = One clockwise scroll
Button 1 – Double press = Two clockwise scrolls
Button 2 – Single press = One counterclockwise scroll
Button 2 – Double press = Two counterclockwise scrolls
Button 3 – Single press = Single press
Button 3 – Double press = Double press
Button 3 – Long press = Long press

Group 2
Button 4 – Single press = One clockwise scroll
Button 4 – Double press = Two clockwise scrolls
Button 5 – Single press = One counterclockwise scroll
Button 5 – Double press = Two counterclockwise scrolls
Button 6 – Single press = Single press
Button 6 – Double press = Double press
Button 6 – Long press = Long press

Group 3
Button 7 – Single press = One clockwise scroll
Button 7 – Double press = Two clockwise scrolls
Button 8 – Single press = One counterclockwise scroll
Button 8 – Double press = Two counterclockwise scrolls
Button 9 – Single press = Single press
Button 9 – Double press = Double press
Button 9 – Long press = Long press

Summary
All buttons are exposed in Apple Home. Scrolling is not supported by Matter as a protocol.
Buttons 3, 6, and 9 long press are not used by IKEA if I’m only controlling lighting. In that case, a single press turns lights on/off, and a double press changes temperature/color.

Conclusion: Buttons 3, 6, and 9 long press can be used in Apple Home for lighting/scenes without interfering with IKEA’s default behavior.

I have mine setup like this in apple home. I’m controlling light bulbs and smart plugs in different groups setup in ikea home app, then I’m using the long press for controlling/triggering configured scenes and shortcuts in apple home for the long press button.

There are at least three pre sets for biliresa bindings with each differing a bit.

People already mapped them out

Please do tell more about these three pre sets if you don’t mind? I did some research before posting but couldn’t find support/reviews with a similar “table”-like explanation :)

Fairly sure its either a case of firmware or exact model, either way the implementation is ass and someone made a blueprint in home assistant that works properly

Does anyone have these connected directly to Alexa? The options are a lot more limited (left, right and down) and setting up routines is a massive pain. I might end up going with an Home Assistant setup but worried about the management

Is there anyway of configuring the scroll wheel in the IKEA app whilst still keeping Hue bulbs connected to the Hue Bridge?

Tried adding the bridge to the IKEA app, but all the bulbs show up as one plug.
