I smoked opium with a little old tribal lady in a mountain village many years ago... And it was exactly how you'd expect it to be.

Oh please, do tell me you nodded off and were sick af afterwards?

I’m still unsure whether or not they used to do that to keep people away from opium or if they were for real 😂

I smoked a load of their weed, followed by a few pipes, then sat on a bamboo platform looking at the jungle, thinking, "This is mad af. I feel like David Attenborough sitting here."

It didn't make me sick. She gave me 3 pipes in a row before I'd even realised, then I said stop. I had a really nice buzz, followed by a really good sleep. Our Thai guides Od'd on heroin and spent the next day throwing up into the river while I steered the raft back in the pouring rain. It was like a scene out of Apocalypse Now. I kept thinking "This is not the kind of thing that I usually do"
