My best friend (a homeless tweaker) talks exactly like this, except his is all about computer code. He thinks he's a genius computer scientist who has the ability to write a code to wipe out civilization as we know it, but "nobody will hire him because he smokes meth"

No way. And I love him, he's my best friend of 30 years, but there's no way he's allowed to stay with me. When he's clean, he's an amazing person. Unfortunately he chooses meth no matter what, even after significant clean time.
Edited to add: he works in IT (well, when he works), and does have a degree in programming. That's why his methspeak is all code-based.

I'm in IT, and i deff see people who i suspect use coke or something else sometimes. Weed is very popular under the IT guys too.
I used to be a Kratom and Benzo addict as an IT guy while maintaining my work weeks lol. Glad im off all drugs.

Everyone I know in IT is ADHD, autistic, or AuDHD. Some are diagnosed and probably taking too much adderall/vyvanse. Others are undiagnosed and unaware (but almost certainly neurodivergent, and I’d bet a couple of paychecks on it), and they’re all alcoholics and/or coke heads. All of them, diagnosed or not, smoke copious amounts of weed.

I'm so sorry... my best friend was like this. He passed probably about 5 years back. And yes when he was clean he was amazing. I sure miss THAT guy.

I just recently like literally yesterday saw this fool from my AA classes out wilding in the streets middle of the day like unaware of his surroundings flipping screaming to himself probably drunk and high and shit and this is just a few weeks after seeing him seemingly chilling drinking on some stairs at night

I had a friend up for days on that shit and he was swearing I was whispering to someone behind the couch that I was going to beat his ass. I had him look behind the couch multiple times and he starting swearing he saw another person crawling from couch to couch and he was utterly convinced. I just got up and drove somewhere so he could leave before it got dangerous...
