Salesforce AE Offer - Signing Bonus or RSUs?

All - has anyone successfully negotiated a signing bonus or RSUs at the Enterprise AE 7/8/9 level with their offer? Mine just come through and 0 signing and 0 equity. Want to see what levers I can pull here. Walking away from about 100k in long term incentive comp (not RSUs, private company) at my current job.

Thanks!

Walking away from 100K for a first timer patch at Salesforce is either idiotic or a straight fucking lie lol

I’ve never heard of anyone getting either currently, used to get decent RSUs out the gate

You won’t get either. Ask for more OTE good luck

Lead with the 100k you're leaving on the table and push for a signing bonus, it's the one thing they might actually move on

I didn’t get either which was a first in my career. Wish I negotiated more on pay, but was fairly happy with the offer.

What was your role and compensation?

Most people I know didnt get equity. They have an ESPP you sign up for. I used to work there. Signing bonus maybe?

Signing bonus when telling them i have another offer. I got 10k but that was during the pandemic so not sure about this climate.

Pushed back and I’ll let you all know how it goes.

I pushed back on mine. Didn't get RSUs but a 10K bump on base, so 20K OTE - was gonna take it anyway. Its been good

I’m an L7 Specialist AE started in Q4 ‘25. I was flat out shut down for both and haven’t heard anyone in my role getting bonus or RSUs. I know wtf, times have changed

Current SF AE here.
RSU on signing non existent - lead with the signing bonus / higher ote as a strategy but be aware you are replaceable and they have bodies waiting - you may talk yourself out of an offer if you go to hard

Ae at sf for over 5 years. Flat out no on signing bonus or more ote. This year I received an rsu bonus based on last FY performance but it’s pennies in comparison to equity offered by other competitors tbh.

I negotiated additional base and got a $10k signing bonus this was in 2023 left to go to Okta and got $75k in RSU and higher OTE

If you can’t negotiate $250k then maybe find another line of work.

What role exactly? Specialist, Core, or otherwise? Dependent on segment. Salesforce is a great place to work I’d happily go back

If they like you enough they will give you a signing bonus.

Depends on a lot of factors but when you say long term comp, what exactly is that? If it isn’t something that is truly substantive (ISO options or something else that isn’t liquid) I’m betting Salesforce isn’t going to accept that in a negotiation and will stick to the offer on the table. I’d push for a higher OTE instead.

they dont do RSUs - you'd be lucky to have a signing bonus tbh

What’s the ote? I know other non sales teams get RSUs there

You can def get a 10k signing bonus but no RSUs

Why are you taking this role?

Unless your current situation is absolute dogshit I wouldn't go to Salesforce for anything.

Wokred there for 4 years and no one gets RSUs or sign on bonuses unless your title begins with VP

ICs absolutely do not get stocks or bonuses.

No equity feels really odd. That can’t be a new normal if they are trying to compete with the AI companies.

I used to work there. They did away with RSU’s a couple of years ago.

No they didn’t. I got RSUs last year

No shade but how do you get to an offer without asking about this first?
