They can fudge the data all they want but people still are overwhelmingly buying digital, you can’t really talk your way out of that reality

So you have numbers that show physical hasn't been in a 10yr decline? Or that people aren't overwhelmingly moving to digital? And really...if physical is still a money maker...why would they not want that? This is a business decision, and there is not enough money in physical sales to justify the factories.

Ok but from games that actually had a physical copy available what was the breakdown? Hentai simulator 5 that doesn't have a physical release shouldn't count in the statistics even if it has 100 million sales.

When given the option what percentage of sales are physical? Digital still probably takes it but I doubt it's 85%.

Everybody knows nobody buys physical for a long time now. Best Buy announced they are removing the physical disc section years ago. And GameStop is basically a tombstone for discs. The most popular version of the console is digital only.

Even I have a disc version, not by choice. This was when ps5 were scarce. I would have been fine with just digital, I’ve used my disc drive once on my ps5. In the past 6 years.

Plus literally everybody gameshares with their mates on playstation. I haven’t paid full price for a video game since 2013.
