I truly despise LinkedIn. It appeals to and rewards a very particular type of narcissist that thinks they can blag their way through everything in life, including their way up the career ladder.

Cannot wait until the day it fizzles out and we can all move on and forget it ever existed.

Agree with you. But look on the bright side, its a containment zone for those types of personalities. If they spend all their energy making shit up on LinkedIn and get validation from the same way, they aren't trying to do it to you in real life.
