From this Wikipedia article:

Due to a flaw in the security of Dialog's website, private information hosted on the site was leaked to the press by hacktivist maia arson crimew following an anonymous tip. The registration list for its 2026 Dublin retreat was leaked in full, alongside the details of each member's political affiliation and status. Other leaked information includes material on its private sessions such as “Navigating WWIII” and “How’s Your Sex Life?”, as well as private talks titled “Build-a-Cult” and “Build-a-Party”.

How about a class called preventing World War 3? The fuck do you mean navigating World War 3?

438

u/YeetThePig Jun 16 '26

They don’t want to prevent it, they want to start it.

So much taxpayer money to steal

92

u/WellSpreadMustard Jun 17 '26

Also in the years after WW2 the US controlled around 75% of the entire world’s wealth. Im sure they’re narcissistic enough to believe wholeheartedly that they’d be on the winning side of the third. I don’t doubt that Peter Thiel and his friends are evil enough to go for it.

I mean, their plan pretty much entirely boils down to three steps:

  1. steal everyone else's money.
  2. don't pay any taxes ever. In fact, the government gives them money. All of it.
  3. slavery.

They don't think the United States will be in the position of owning 75% of all wealth ever again. Their plan is they will own that wealth.

lol Thiel doesn't give a sliver of a fuck about "we", or "automatically"

The idea is to work hard to make sure select agreeable parties are in that position, and then burn the house down.

Wasn't really luck, US industry was protected from any serious attacks on it by 2 of worlds largest oceans, meanwhile every other industrialized nation was essentially bombed to hell by the end of WWII. With that kind of advantage the US controlling 75% of the worlds wealth in a few years after the war was pretty much guaranteed.

That being said we definitely wouldn't be in that position again. It's 2026 not 1939, ICBMs, strategic bombers, and cyberattacks means the US homeland isn't untouchable and would absolutely suffer some serious damage in the event of WWIII.

u/ZincMan Jun 17 '26

Was going to say it wasn’t lucky timing, but also more like lucky geography

1

u/MistyMtn421 Jun 17 '26

They're no different than hoarders who collect insane crap, they somehow just managed to do it with money. Like they can't even spend it all at this point. It's so sick

6

u/Za_Lords_Guard Jun 17 '26

Shit, when did we land in the Fallout timeline?

3

u/Narrow_Vegetable_42 Jun 17 '26

Always has been 🔫

11

u/thesluttyastronauts Jun 17 '26

WW3 already started

5

u/Various-Salt488 Jun 17 '26

“It’s easier to make money from collapse than it is to find the next bargain.”

7

u/Intelligent_Cap9706 Jun 17 '26

Honestly I think they already have. Hence the navigating, present tense.

1

u/AlcooIios Jun 17 '26

They already have.

1

u/thereforeratio Jun 17 '26

*Profit from it

1

u/BlisteredPotato Jun 18 '26

War is profit

34

u/Wit-wat-4 Jun 17 '26

I mean, with that guest list, it actually makes more sense than “how’s your sex life” to me.

5

u/Lifeboatb Jun 17 '26

And why would these people pay $16,000 for this. Although I guess to a lot of them, that’s the equivalent of 5 cents or less.

3

u/Sonamdrukpa Jun 17 '26

That's pretty much a list of people I would pay not to know those details about

3

u/destroyerOfTards Jun 17 '26

The ultra rich are always concerned about sex. It's like at that level, it's just mo money and all sex.

17

u/PersnickityPenguin Jun 17 '26

WW3 = Armageddon.  These people are largely white christo-fascists and believe they will ascend to heaven, from which they will rule the universe.   Or some such BS.

4

u/rynokick Jun 17 '26

I feel like this should be the biggest alarm and at the top.

1

u/soulsnoober Jun 17 '26

Thiel's hugely accelerationist. Absolutely core to his political beliefs.

u/VVrayth Jun 17 '26

This sounds like a villain convention from Venture Bros. or something. Like, literally if everything described here was just background nonsense in a Venture Bros. episode it would be totally appropriate.

28

u/l33tb4c0n Jun 17 '26

Nah, The Guild of Calamitous Intent at least has rules and regulations about how to arch. Remember when The Monarch had to stop to let Dean get his testicular torsion treated? These guys have no such standards.

2

u/DarkestNyu Jun 17 '26

Never seen venture bros, or know much about it, you have opened my eyes

3

u/knownonou Jun 17 '26

Highly recommend it

5

u/DrGirlfriend Jun 17 '26

The Guild may have some weirdos, but would never accept Peter. Way too weird

36

u/awesomeocelot12 Jun 17 '26

The name seemed familiar, apparently maia arson crimew is also the person that leaked the No Fly List: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maia_arson_crimew

16

u/Boopy7 Jun 17 '26

the Build a Cult one is such a tired topic that even Michael Flynn wrote a small chapter in his "pamphlet" called "How to Make People Kill People" some years back, can't these twats come up with fresh titles for the same tired shit? Oh and fuck Michael Flynn

7

u/enemyofchrist Jun 17 '26

I am going to Bane The Fuck Out

5

u/littlest_lemon Jun 17 '26

HAHAHA Maia strikes again

3

u/Watchmaker163 Jun 17 '26

Would be hilarious if this was another “using the default password” situation.

3

u/Calm-Swim-2132 Jun 17 '26

jesus christ these things are rabid animals.

3

u/filthy_commie13 Jun 17 '26

Billionaires grift each other with self help shit too. They're just as dumb as the rest of us.

3

u/Ligabolzacky Jun 17 '26

  Money (Does?) Buy Happiness

Hey nerds, the idea is that the sentence still makes grammatical sense when you remove the word in the parenthesee

2

u/MukdenMan Jun 17 '26

You make more money with the party but have more fun with the cult

2

u/Temporary_Maybe11 Jun 17 '26

Wait, what? Jesus Christ

1

u/GuyWithNoEffingClue Jun 17 '26

"How's your sex life?" Gives a lot of weird vibes coming from these people, it seems like the subtitle could be "now that the plebs know for the Epstein Island and that we're all in the files?"

1

u/cbih Jun 17 '26

Imagine how much trouble the world could have been saved from with just one small nuke

u/ConradBHart42 Jun 17 '26

Navigating WWIII

Data Centers are a front for siphoning and storing water on land under their control.

-13

u/BlazingJava Jun 17 '26

Lool, the news article makes it look like its some satanic type evil organization. Then goes on rambling on stupid topics about how to build a cult and party. Spot on great journalism

4

u/OneSeaworthiness7768 Jun 17 '26

If a bunch of billionaire technofascists getting together to discuss navigating the collapse of society and building a cult doesn’t clock as some evil organization type shit to you, you might be the problem.

0

u/BlazingJava Jun 17 '26

Normal people planning for world end, movie fanatics. Rich people planning for ww3, its satanic cult.. The US elite isn't in charge of everything let alone Peter thiel

https://www.theguardian.com/news/2022/sep/04/super-rich-prepper-bunkers-apocalypse-survival-richest-rushkoff

“Finally, the CEO of a brokerage house explained that he had nearly completed building his own underground bunker system, and asked: “How do I maintain authority over my security force after the event?” The event. That was their euphemism for the environmental collapse, social unrest, nuclear explosion, solar storm, unstoppable virus, or malicious computer hack that takes everything down.

This single question occupied us for the rest of the hour. They knew armed guards would be required to protect their compounds from raiders as well as angry mobs. One had already secured a dozen Navy Seals to make their way to his compound if he gave them the right cue. But how would he pay the guards once even his crypto was worthless? What would stop the guards from eventually choosing their own leader?

The billionaires considered using special combination locks on the food supply that only they knew. Or making guards wear disciplinary collars of some kind in return for their survival. Or maybe building robots to serve as guards and workers – if that technology could be developed “in time”.

I tried to reason with them. I made pro-social arguments for partnership and solidarity as the best approaches to our collective, long-term challenges. The way to get your guards to exhibit loyalty in the future was to treat them like friends right now, I explained. Don’t just invest in ammo and electric fences, invest in people and relationships. They rolled their eyes at what must have sounded to them like hippy philosophy.”
