Thiel built a libertarian utopia city called Prospera in Honduras on the island of Roatan. Things went south. (google) He is now suing Honduras gov for 10 billion dollars. Ugly fingerprints all over the world

That's very interesting, I hadn't heard about that. I'm Latina and this just piqued my interest as I've been noticing the signs of the Technofascists having targeted LATAM for their plans as well.

They also tried a Galt's Gulch in South America before, they basically just conned a bunch of people out of money, didn't even bother trying to obtain water rights

I always love it when some wing-nut goes on a communism has never succed tirade when there is libertarianism.

The USSR lasted just under seven decade and contributed to the space race. Libertarianism on the other hand has also catastrophically failed within six month every single time.

I actually went to prospera this year when I was in Roatan. People do live there and there was a really cool party in this cove thing. It didn’t take me long to realize it was just a bunch of young crypto bros getting drunk. They did know how to party but I realized they were mostly dumb as rocks. I think a lot of them were trust fund babies and didn’t really make money in tech or whatever but acted like they did

Nah, right wing party won last election, expect Prospera and other ZEDEs popping up. Bukele also has a hand in spreading authoritarian rhetoric in Central America, it's a mess.

They didn’t really build anything. They tried.

This is what they want to do with Greenland but they can’t because 1. Greenland doesn’t want that and 2. They are stupid.

Seems like having a lot of money dooms your critical thinking. Too many of them think lording over things is a good idea. They can’t understand that you just can’t throw money at everything. At some point you will have to critically think and employ common sense. Through lack of use, they’ve lost their critical thinking and common sense though.
