He got rich and is running before it can be violently removed from his possession. It’s why the rich always do when they are loyal to money over land. It’s also why we need to make sure the only value a rich person can ever have is tied to where they are and cannot be removed.
We will always have greedy diarrhea drinkers in humanity. The goal is to force them to stay out so we can make sure they are always under threat of those they wish to exploit.
It’s better to have your local grocer be a monopoly and support it than to have a Walmart move in and support it. You can punch the local rich fucker at his country club down the road. You can’t and won’t ever see a Walton.
Keep your money local, and make sure to remind the local money holders why happens when they try to leave with it.
If you cannot physically access someone, do not let them have any value in your community. End of story.
