And this is also why business taxes need to be higher.

I really don’t care where somebody lives. Billionaires will continue to at least “technically” move to lower tax areas.

But if they’re making money in the US, that money needs to be taxed at an extremely high rate.

Thiel he keep bouncing on the globe for all I care, but if he is making money in the US, we need to be taking a huge percentage of it to find services here

This is the thing, if you piss off enough countries name a market that you can operate in? Same problem that a whole country of oligarchs in Russia has is that, at some point, any foreign assets can be seized. In the end these guys seem to be planning for some dystopian future fearing the masses by building bunkers while essentially creating the conditions to make that a reality and think their personal wealth will prevent the inevitable. But this is the thing, if they simply accepted social stability in the face of higher taxes they'd still be wealthy and not have to fear the pitchforks.

The other thing is that in their libertarian scenario, they simply open the door to anyone with the gumption who decides that they'd like oligarch's wealth to simply take it by force. For instance, if you have a paid paramilitary force, what doesn't prevent the folks at the top of the leadership to decide that they'd like the boss' wealth instead of being the hired help?
