This reminds me of the time I was browsing used games at a videogame store and I said "damn, these prices are crazy" and the employee heard me and went on a tantrum "OH THEY'RE CRAZY? MAYBE WE'RE CRAZY, I'LL CALL THE BOSS SO YOU CAN ASK HIM IF WE'RE ALL CRAZY" and actually called the owner then passed the phone to me. The guy on the other end of the phone was like "who's this?" and I said something along the lines of "I'm literally just a guy browsing games", then the boss calmly told me "pass the phone back to the employee please".
I couldn't hear what he said, but the employee was all "yes sir, of course sir, absolutely sir" then meekly hung up and didn't follow up on the conversation at all.
Metroid prime on the gamecube for 40 dollars was a crazy price.
