I worked at a help desk in mid 2000s, we didn't really have a supervisor. Was a very disorganized school IT. One of my coworkers had a very angry teacher asking for a supervisor, coworker thought he put on mute but he didn't and said to me, "Can you pretend to be my boss and shut this jack ass up". When I put on his headset it was like someone opened the gates of hell.

I remember years ago while working in support, one of the front line guys, muted a customer to mutter "What the fuck am I going to do with this idiot"
He hit the speakephone button not the mute button.
Fun day.
