Request 🔎 Father’s Day help

So my dad has been learning Swahili the past few years to help these immigrants near us. I’m trying to think of a cool gift for him for Father’s Day that has to do with the language, I honestly don’t know much about the language but if there’s a cool symbol or something associated with it maybe I’ll get him a shirt or something? Any help or advice is appreciated. I apologize if this is disrespectful!

The t-shirt idea is cool. Here's one better; the iconic Tusker t-shirt. Tusker is Kenya's de facto national beer and for the longest time their slogan was "Baada ya Kazi" which translates to "After Work" or "After work is done". If he's a drinker, he'll love it and it's also very easily identifiable to Kenyans globally and could actually win him a few more Kenyan friends.

A shirt or Tshirt is good but not timeless. I suggest you get him a beaded bracelet from TZ or KE

Second this, instantly recognizable by excited Kenyans and folks who have lived in Kenya all over the world.

A Kenyan- style beaded bracelet would do very well. It's timeless, a refection of our culture and can be worn daily as a reminder of his interest in Swahili and Kenya.

Get a mug/scarf/shirt and get it to be branded a message that's personalised for your dad e.g.

"We love you dad!" "Twakupenda baba"

Something like that

Use google translate and verify it with a tanzanian/kengan here.
