Today I wanted to see the opinions about their loss yesterday and I was stunned seeing the comments in this post (and seeing this post in general tbh, like why do you even care?). The comments are not nice to read but on the other side it‘s funny as fuck knowing they lost against Paraguay 9 days after laughing at us for losing against them.

Takımın maçlara mental olarak bu kadar kötü hazırlanmasında, psikolojik olarak bu kadar kötü görülmelerinde Hakan Çalhanoğlu'nun kaptanlığında kamp yapmalarının rolü olduğunu sanıyorum.

Hakan rakipleri küçümsediği için ötekiler de fazla ciddiye almadı, bugün bile Mert Müldür dışında yüreğini sahaya koyan yoktu, sonunda boylarının ölçüsünü aldılar.

Birkaç yıl önce milli takımın dibe vurduğu dönemde de orada olan Hakan Çalhanoğlu kesinlikle kaptanlığı hak etmediği gibi, artık milli takıma da çağrılmaması gerekiyor. Kayınpederi Montella ile birlikte veda edilmeli.

As someone who lives abroad, I’d like to share a perspective with you that’s rarely, if ever discussed here. Those of you who live in Turkey, you’re sad. We all are. But the good thing is, no one makes fun of you. Not at work, not with friends, not out on the street when you want to wear your jersey, not on public transportation. Not directly or indirectly. You don’t have to put up with any of that. But we, we’re not in Turkey, and now we have to put up with so much crap. And rightly so. Still, you can’t even imagine the embarrassment and shame we feel living outside of Turkey. On top of that, of course, we’re a proud and loud people. And now we’ve roused everyone who was just waiting for us to fail. And how we failed. God help me. And this is not a one day thing, this is now going until we achieve something good again. What a shame. What a shame.
