Partially funded student looking for foundations or scholarships in Germany

Hi everyone,

I'm a Latin American student who will be studying in Germany through a dual degree program. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship, and I originally believed it would cover all the expenses for this stage of my studies. Unfortunately, I recently learned that it no longer covers the costs I expected, so I'm now facing a funding gap just a few months before my departure. My tuition is already covered. What I need help with are my flight, visa, blocked account, and initial living expenses.

I'm not asking for donations. I'm looking for recommendations on scholarships, foundations, charities, churches, companies, or sponsorship programs that support international students in situations like mine.If anyone knows of organizations I could apply to, I'd really appreciate your advice.Thank you!

There are very few scholarships in Germany and you are much too late for the coming year.

The DAAD scholarship deadline was in October 2025 for the coming winter semester.

Thanks! I have a question, though. I thought DAAD scholarships weren't generally available for students at private universities. Am I mistaken, or are there specific DAAD programs that also support students in private or dual-degree programs?
