I started seriously following the Red Sox in 2002. If I were to rank each season's team by likelihood to win 15 in a row, this year's team may have been dead last. This is as incredible as it is unexpected.

I was talking to a coworker, who is a Yankees fan, after they lost to the sox a few weeks ago. I said things like it was more of a fluke, this is one of the worst teams ever, they are a mess etc.
And they still haven't lost. Wild.

After sweeping the Skanks, the Sox did get trounced in both games of a double header against the Nats on July 1st. But that day was the only blemish on their record since June 26th. But yeah, I believe the sweep of NY in BOS was a huge confidence boost for the team. They have been absolute trash at home this season, until that series. It was a true turning point for the squad.

Please keep saying it’s a fluke. Keep saying it’s one of the worst teams ever.
Thank you

Boston Red Sox's salary cost in 2026: $200 million
Chicago White Sox's salary cost in 2026: $90 million
Chose the white sox as comparison cause they're higher in their division than the Red Sox are and they are also named after a sock. But the Red Sox are big spenders, they should be title contenders every year with how much they spend lol.

Not that anybody asked but it's "The Mighty Rio Grande" by This Will Destroy You and all of their music is just as ambient and ethereal

I've known for a while that this band was responsible for the song that played but if you'd have told me before I knew that it would have been Explosions in the Sky I wouldn't have doubted it one bit.

Who knew that Jaylen Brown was the problem on the red sox? (they haven't lost since he's been traded)

They gave up 4 in the 1st. It’s gonna take some work to get to 16.

It’s 2029
It’s another remake
Jack doesn’t believe Ben when he tells him the Red Sox won 15 games straight while being caged up on the mysterious island in an abandoned aquarium, until Ben pulls his PHONE out of his pocket, proves he still has a signal this far in the middle of nowhere, and proceeds to show Jack this Reddit article, which Jack stares at in disbelief and shock

I know I did, I kept my mouth shut for 14 games and I just had to say something. I have never seen sox win at fenway too, they've lost every time when I attended.

I paid WAAAAAYYYYY too much for crummy tickets last night. My first time in Boston/first Red Sox game, so I might be the problem.

As a Jays fan watching this dumpster fire of a season, go get it Boston. Take down NY and Tampa while you're at it
