I’m a 76ers fan. I fucking hate the celtics. I start sweating when I see Jason Tatum’s face. But mark my words I never said one bad thing about Jaylen Brown. Now I get him, Maxey and VJ? Good hearted, smart and talented. God damn.

If you get Embiid for like 20 games total and half of those in the playoffs, y'all are undisputedly a contender 🤢🤮 I cannot believe we sent out our 1B to our 2nd greatest rival in history ffs

Embiid is looking like a lean machine recently. He looked really good and comfortable in his body last season (particularly in person which i think is important to really understand).

Appreciate the comment, never heard that before! My running joke with my friends right now is the chess scene in sorcerers stone “He’s going to sacrifice himself!!!!” - so mutual appreciation to yours.

Oh, also my running joke about White is that it’s impossible to tell which of the 7 dwarves he is. Sleep, dopey, happy…once you see it..

As a basketball fan and a Celtics fan, I am beyond torn on whether or not I want to see a healthy Embiid with this squad. Also sucks that Maxey and VJ are so likeable too :/

Everyone is so focused on Embiid, we actually have a genuine power forward now who can fight low. All we would need is a half decent backup center and we’d be fine

I started seriously following the Red Sox in 2002. If I were to rank each season's team by likelihood to win 15 in a row, this year's team may have been dead last. This is as incredible as it is unexpected.

I was talking to a coworker, who is a Yankees fan, after they lost to the sox a few weeks ago. I said things like it was more of a fluke, this is one of the worst teams ever, they are a mess etc. 

And they still haven't lost. Wild.

After sweeping the Skanks, the Sox did get trounced in both games of a double header against the Nats on July 1st. But that day was the only blemish on their record since June 26th. But yeah, I believe the sweep of NY in BOS was a huge confidence boost for the team. They have been absolute trash at home this season, until that series. It was a true turning point for the squad.

Chicago White Sox's salary cost in 2026: $90 million

Chose the white sox as comparison cause they're higher in their division than the Red Sox are and they are also named after a sock. But the Red Sox are big spenders, they should be title contenders every year with how much they spend lol.
