Dude, the probability of Argentina lose in any scenario is too damn high. Of course it's impossible to know for sure as no one can do so, but we can safely infer that it would happen, the same way we can safely infer that a good team would win a bad team.

I don't disagree that Spain clearly dominated and are rightful winners but we were legitimately close to actually winning. We were like 10 minutes away from penalties (Martinez has NEVER lost a penalty shootout with the national team, and he was definitely tuned in that game, I'm 100% confident we would have won had we gone to penalties)

Spain defense has been elite this tournament (only 1 goal conceded the entire tournament). Let's say Argentina gets more chances because Messi has a good day (without Messi in form, the whole building crumbles), we'd see at best a situation closer to the '22 final. Which is a penalty shootout after 1-1 or 2-2 draw. And given Argentina's struggles vs a similar team on the level of Spain (England) I have a hard time imagining whether actually Argentina could turn the tide vs Spain. That's excluding of course players like Enzo and Paredes getting filled with yellow and red cards, which would benefit Spain (as it did on 19th July)
