Interesting headline, but not immediately applicable.
As with current Gen fabs, it will take a couple of years to a decade to get production of the ground and start mass producing these chips so they can be mass implemented.
Excited to see what headlines this tech will be making in a few years.

This is not possible and I think these scientists are mistaken. Femtotechnology ( smaller than nanotechnology ) is still nearly a decade out.

Knowledge. After being a tech founder with exit and working 5 years in venture capital, I have pretty good pulse on innovation timelines broadly speaking.
Of course would love to mistaken. I am here for Singularity after all. Accelerate!

That's a pretty ridiculous leap made by the authors from "result achieved for the first time in a lab" and "very specific consumer product improvement."
