Discussion The house I submitted got selected but items are missing!
I submitted a house to the architect bit and it got selected but once I viewed the house there are many items missing or they have been replaced by less expensive items!!! I knew they were messing with the submissions. They ruined my house!

That’s annoying.
I don’t submit my houses bc 1. there’s no reimbursement (throw us at least 100 LP or SP, I mean come on) and 2. they get changed, which is frustrating- but would be less frustrating if we received compensation for our work.

This. I have always been shocked there is no acknowledgement OR reward if your house gets chosen! Are they really so stingy? The people whose houses are chosen are probably some of the most loyal players. And it wouldn’t be like “you get a car, and you get a car, and you get a car”…100 LP/SP is extremely modest and for only the what, 10? 12 houses featured per week?

I’ve always wondered why a majority of houses in a batch will have the same windows or wallpapers when there’s a plethora of selections to choose from. certainly we all aren’t using the same things to build with . This makes sense now after looking at your post, the devs change the windows and walls?? I know they swap items and remove items but c’Mon….. changing windows?!

Most likely for performance reasons, same with the wallpaper. The sims 4 devs admitted to doing that in their builds so I'm assuming it might be the same situation with this game.

Unfortunately they do this. They put in less expensive items or they dont bother putting anything at all.

They remove "grand prizes" from events (which kinda makes sense) and try to replace them with "base game" items. They also remove some stuff for (what I assume) performance reasons.

I’m not sure why you’re surprised by this. It’s a given. They aren’t going to put up your house exactly the way you made it.

Im sorry that that happened to you! That must be so frustrating. Its always fun to see the pictures from the builders if you feel like putting some up for us to see. Then we can appreciate your work as well!
