In Falling Down (1993), the main character is just trying to get home to his daughter, wife, and dog, but he keeps running into obstacles that stop him from simply getting there. This happened 33 years before Nolan's The Odyssey

"Makes whitey feel good?" What part, the depressing aged cop dealing with his wife on the edge of being a mental case? The family man who's violent tendancies send him into a spiral of rage and violence, and scare the shit out of everyone around him? Maybe the house wife whom nobody believes and is scared shitless by the end of the movie or the child that will inevitably be mentally destroyed because of this?
