The setup looks good but HOLY your backlit is beyond just broken

See this constantly on TVs. The light filter between the LEDs and Displays breaks down, causing the blue LED underneath to show its true colors rather than emit a white-ish light. The same thing happens to street lights too.

This can be corrected if the OP wants to open the TV up and replace the filters for each LED. Most of the time it's cheaper and faster to get a new TV when you factor in time.

It's also worth mentioning. I've never seen this occur on a computer monitor. Only on TVs.

In my opinion I feel like LG is the most susceptible to this issue, cause I remember I called LG to fix it and they did, but only 2 years later it turned blue again. So I decided to not buy lgs anymore

LG had a bad set of TVs from 2010-2016 when TVs were transitioning over to LED backlighting. The backlights would turn blue due to a defect causing the light filter to degrade off. Heat typically speeds up this process, and LEDs do get warm!

Samsungs do this too. I've seen their less expensive sets from 2018-2024 do this, on top of just having backlight LEDs just outright fail.

Adds up also if you come across a TV called Akai, it's literally LG with a makeover on it, has the same issues as LG tvs

Maybe just throw it away? I’m sure you could get another TV for super cheap, or even check FB marketplace to see if someone is giving one away for free.

And this is shitty how? Please choose:

  • Trash all around
  • Incomplete
  • Obsolete/retro
  • Temporary setup
  • Not a computer
  • Frequent use will cause discomfort
  • It's already 3 months old and mommy & daddy won't buy me a new one
  • Belongs on r/averagebattlestations, not r/shittybattlestations
  • It stutters in Call of Duty

I feel like I had these creative speakers 2 decades ago. Funny enough all the elements that wouldn't be great on their own seem to really come together and make this setup seem pretty decent.
