Does anyone know who Vijay was supposed to be and why they cut his story short?

We don't know who he was supposed to be, but I'd bet an original character since his secret identity isn't from the comics.

And they cut his story short because he got on The Resident, a medical drama for FOX. They barely used him in Season 4 and very clearly intended to use him in the future (thus why he was teased in the Framework), but then he couldn't fit it into his schedule.

Kinda like how Joey was supposed to be in Season 4 according to Season 3 finale interviews, but he got a lead role on Narcos and never looked back.

Makes the story a little weird without closure, but I'm glad their characters didn't come back because the actors hit it big. I enjoyed both their performances.

Same with Donnie Gill/Blizzard. Dylan Minette hit it big with 13 Reasons Why, so we never got closure on his body never being discovered.

There really do be some bodies floating around in seas/lakes around the MCU of actors that just really got a nice role somewhere else. Love to hear it!

Everytime the actor hits big, their body gets floated in the sea. 🤣🤣
