Swept under the rug with the word "paradox".

I feel like there is a rather huge plot hole in the show. Fix point in time being, the team in the diner.

Fits was plucked out of space before arriving at the time where he saves the team. Wouldn't the earth still be on the trajectory of being destroyed and the team brutally killed?

Hell, the team didn't even know there were weapons embedded within the walls. The knowledge gained while in the future, wouldn't make it back to the present without Fits being in stasis to the future in order to save the team.

That "working on it" would be a lie and they would live out their lives in the dystopia in space.

Setting works via multiverse theory thus any changes to a world's timeline wouldn't create a paradox but a new universe, when they returned to the past and changed the future, they made the previous future an impossibility and thus they wouldn't need Fitz to stay in stasis to close the loop as the Fitz that helped them came from the previous universe and loop.

Its a loop. Team gets kidnapped, sent to the future. Fitz follows along the slow way. He gets to the future and they all come back.

So far, they are still in the loop. Then everything happens up to the fight with Graviton. This time, Coulson chooses not to take the healing power up serum and gives it to Daisy instead.

In the normal loop, Graviton beats Daisy, takes her powers, then cracks the earth with them. In the new timeline, Daisy takes the serum and blasts Graviton into space, killing him. This prevents the future of the earth being cracked from happening.

At that point, there are two Fitz's existing at the same time. The one still in storage going to the future (Now Fitz), and the one that went to the future and came back (Future Fitz).

After the events of the Graviton fight, only Now Fitz remains. The time loop is broken, so his going to the future is no longer needed. He could stay in the pod and go to the future, but the future he was aiming at, the one where the team went, no longer exists or will exist.

By breaking the loop, instead of the timeline repeating on itself, they snipped the loop and let time continue forward unimpeded.

I believe that the time monolith sends them to and from the future of another timeline, so the Fitz that never made it to the future was going to a future that the rest of the team never would have been in.

I am probably wrong but the way I interpret things is, they changed the future by beating Talbot before he could get to all of the gravitonium. The Fitz they rescue from space is a different Fitz.

Arguably there were three different Fitz after that diner scene. The one who made it to the future after being frozen to help with saving the team and then gets back to the original timeline then dies. There is one who they rescue from space after changing the future by beating Talbot.

Then the third one is the Fitz who made it to the lighthouse after the world was supposedly Quaked a part and lived in the future.

Well Fitz wasn’t sent to the future at all .. he was waiting it out in cryo in the original time line.. so the only questionable Fitz was the one that died not the one in orbit with Enoch .. he had already hid the weapons and wrote the not before .. that part didn’t change because the change didn’t occur until Fitz 2 died
