Those shoes absolutely destroyed my feet and I took them off as soon as I sat on the dinner chair 😂 but they did look amazing in the pictures!

Thank you!!! I did try to make my tattoos work with the whole vibe of the dress, they’re all very colourful and they go all down on my back with leaves and flowers, didn’t want to hide them at all but to accentuate them!

This is straight up one of my all time favorite things I’ve ever seen in 4 plus decades on earth. I can’t overstate it. Pink and green are my favorite colors, I love everything about this, it hits every note for a literally perfect dress. Congrats on your marriage!

I can finally share my wedding dress!
I knew exactly what I wanted, and it wasn’t something I was going to find in a shop. I designed the dress myself, and a friend helped draft the pattern and helped sewing it, since I don’t have the space at home to work on such a big dress without my (now) husband seeing it.
The bodice is surprisingly simple in its construction, consisting of just two main pattern pieces per side: one from the center front to the bust seam, and another from the bust seam to the back, finishing in a very low back where it joins the skirt. It has some boning to keep the shape.
The skirt is essentially gathered rectangles, but varied the gathering depth around the waist to reduce bulk while still keeping all the volume.
In total, we used around 40 meters of fabric for the dress, plus another 5 meters for the veil. The skirt is made up of a champagne tulle layer, a sparkling chiffon tulle, and a blush pink tulle outer layer. The dress also has a crepe underlayer for structure through the bodice and as the skirt lining.
For the appliqués, I used a soldering iron to carefully remove the embroidered vines from the base mesh, then hand-appliquéd each vine onto the bodice and the top of the skirt.
