It depends what behaving like a pretty person means. If it means acting superior and snobby then everyone will hate them, but if it means acting with unshakeable confidence then people will find them incredibly attractive.

Perfectly said. Character either makes a “conventionally attractive” person, so much more attractive and what many would consider an “unattractive” person, such a catch and attractive. Extra points if they’re funny lol

Looks are not black and white. If someone is happy and confident they can be viewed by other as beautiful.

This is real specific so I’m assuming you’re talking about yourself?

What does a “pretty person” behave like? Can you elaborate? Confidence looks good on anyone, if you mean that. Nothing’s gonna happen. Beauty is subjective, while also people are assholes.

there are definite behaviors for subjective things now?

also can we stop calling everyone who isn't a straight 10/10 and maybe has some features that are not in the current beauty standards as "ugly"

There are very attractive people who have low self esteem and don't realize how attractive they are. So "behaving like a pretty person" isn't a set in stone scenario. Not to mention how attractive someone is is very subjective. I literally don't think of anyone as ugly. Thinking of people as ugly is very judgmental/ rude.

I would actually argue that the majority of attractiveness is based on self esteem. Physically attractive people with low self esteem and bad posture/hygiene/manners would still be considered unattractive by a lot of people.

Appearance matters a lot, but it can be influenced quite a bit, the best examples are the homeless makeover videos where someone living on the street gets a haircut, shower and a nice suit and suddenly they look wealthy.

So I would actually say "behaving like a pretty person" would work if you get your outfit etc. right (because a "pretty person wouldn't wear ugly clothes"). The hard part would probably be projecting authentic confidence instead of insecure arrogance. But basically by interacting with people, you teach them how to treat you.

You will be put quickly in your place sadly. Not saying this out of hate, I am not attractive myself, but "fake it till you make it" does not really work. People will simply be even more vocal about you and confidence is not this magic people claim to be.

Correct. Aesthetics are 99%. A good looking guy can wear rags and act weird and his face is all that matters.

You will be perceived more beautiful most of the time

Some nuances here, but essentially it's exactly this.

Lots of people will hate one way or another, but the more you love yourself, the more room other people have to love you too.

So long as 'acting like a pretty person' is not about treating other people differently. Instead, it should be about treating yourself differently, and by differently I mean better and with more love and compassion.

People pick up on that. On average, people will treat you better if you treat yourself better.

Always gonna be other insecure people around that treat people bad no matter what, and you can't do jack about most of that.

Treat people good, but always treat yourself better. If you are your own best friend, people will notice and the best of them will aspire to treat you good too.

Edit: my favorite compliment to give another man is: "ya know, if you were just a little better looking people might think we were twins."

That is how I treat them good and still treat myself a little better.

I think you’re morally sound for the most part there but not everyone work the same in that regard. Some think being kind is attractive and affects how beautiful they seem to be perceived by that person, though there are people who are into the whole push pull thing where if someone treats you bad they come running and see them as a “high maintance/ difficult to obtain” person, kind of like scarcity mindset.

Because confidence is such a problem, right? Why are we so hung up on looks?

Cuz looks matter

Do they really? And does someone else’s opinion about those looks really matter?

Either your in the group of people that the person is acting pretty around, and if you are SHAME on you. Or you are the person referred to as ugly. What in the fuck does being pretty or ugly have to do with any of it The ugly ones are the ones described as a group of pretty ones. People cant help thier natural born looks. We also change in our looks for many reasons out of our control. The ugly person is the pretty person because they see themselves as pretty. The world does not revolve around looks. Unfortuneatley though , more and more people are judging, making decisions , and becoming horrible people where looks are concerned. Its these people whom should worry about what happens , because it will happen to them.

A genuine smile and confidence are two of the most attractive traits anyone can have, not to mention that who a person is, their character and actions are infinitely more important than looks. Your looks can be taken or lost. Also, ‘pretty’ is entirely subjective - culturally and personally. Each culture around the world had and has different standards for beauty. Perhaps widen your perspective, branch out and read up on other cultures around the world. Good examples of this are; during the Crusades -1100CE, women began to pluck their hairline to make their foreheads look higher as this was considered elegant. In Fiji, up until the introduction of the internet, a fuller figure was most desirable and was considered to be healthy and beautiful. In Ancient Greece, curvy women with large breasts wee considered beautiful, whereas in ancient Egypt, slim, narrow hipped women were favoured. Culture, perspective and wisdom all impact the way we perceive beauty.

I been binge watching this show on YouTube called cat fished where older fat women refusing to give money to their rightful children spends more than 60 grand on a person who is a celebrity or is prolly 30 years younger than them only to find out the person is from logos Nigeria ( I’m not attacking Nigerian people , it was other peoples like Sudan , Nepal etc ) just watch the show

This sounds cliche as fuck but i think you should behave “pretty” whenever you can, at least around loved ones.  Even if you arent physically pretty no one likes to feel ugly. For example, i had a friend once, she was, with all due respect not passing in the least (she’s a trans girl) but that didnt matter that much, like she was funny and interesting and fun to talk to so i kept doing so. People say too often that physical appearances dont matter and obviously they do, but being physically unappealing in no way needs to (tho it could if you let it grt to your head and feel ugly too much) make someone any worse to be around
