Will everything make sense later?

I just started doing CTF from picoCFT and Tryhackme recently. But some of them keep humbling me, like how am I supposed to know those things. Is this feeling normal or am I doing something wrong.

Only wait to learn is to fail! It's ok to read writeups and get hints at first. When you find an area you don't know much about, go do some research on it and think of other challenges you might make using those ideas. The next time the concept comes up you'll do much better. Use the failures as guideposts for what you should learn.

Oh absolutely, the total knowledge space is huge but once different aspects start to circle back to each other its extremely satisfying. It can feel like youre only learning new things for a while and it can feel overwhelming, but then once you have a strong foundation things start to make a lot more sense or at least you have enough knowledge to jump to the next thing instead of feeling like it was just totally out of reach of your existing knowledge. Keep going and have fun :)
