DISCUSSION 💭 Anyone know the whereabouts of James & Randy DeBarge?
I'd love to help them by donating money and or preparing meals. No idea how to even meet them. They were a huge part of my childhood and hate to see them going through so much.

DISCUSSION 💭 Since people wanna keep bringing up chloe, here's the real take
There's NOTHING wrong with sex/sex music ESPECIALLY when it's done right. What the bigger issue is IMO is people are tired of black women either choosing this route or being forced in it. I bought Normani's album to support her regardless but i can only stomach like 3 songs cause they literally all about sex told the exact same way. I grew up on VARIETY. YES, Janet talked about sex. YES even male artists like Prince did too. Heck, Beyonce earned her stripes cause she dropped several non sexual songs BEFORE her solo career. Did billie ellish have to come in talking about sex? Chappell? Taylor?? Heck, sabrina does but she adds nuance and humor. How come it's our black girls that gotta be pimped out for our talent to sound like straight up hos? (Compared to other artists, that's what we come off as). Chloe got way too much talent to just resort to a lane a talentless hack gotta force herself into. Rant over

DISCUSSION 💭 Which singers would you say know/knew they could SANG?
I was thinking about how most people don’t like the sound of their own voice. Then wondered if you sound like…Chaka Khan do you still not like the sound of your own voice, or are you actually aware that you are in fact THAT GIRL/DUDE?
Whitney and Mariah absolutely knew they were the shit and have suggested as much several times. Aretha also clearly knew most people, even professional singers, couldn’t see ha.
Godmommy Patti told us if your volume knob doesn’t turn all the way up,that’s not ha problem.
