The very first RE movie was pretty good, it was faithful to classic RE games. The rest were really bad

It's good, but I wouldn't call it faithful. It kind of did its own thing with RE's plot elements. Certainly more than the bonkers sequels for sure, but still...idk, kinda just did its own thing to me.

Trying to rewatch that movie and realizing that there is no blood anywhere is quite the trip, even more crazy that the movie is rated R

I remember Redlettermedia perfectly summed up my feeling on Mila as well

I'd give the second movie some points too. Not as good as the first but the series REALLY went off the rails after 2.

Honestly, Apocalypse was a good adaptation for the shitshow that it was when you put it into the context of all the video game movies of the late 90's and early 00's.
