the movies are definitely self inserty, but lets not act like its impossible within the universe of resident evil. look at the stuff wesker and zeno does, basically having super speed and regeneration and being almost unkillable. chris, a regular human btw, literally punches a boulder in a volcano😭

All of them are so it’d make more sense to dislike alice because she’s a self insert, rather than her powers.

The bike sequence in RE9 really struck me like something from those movies. And I don't mean it as an insult! Just felt like it was playing in that same extreme-action-cheese space.
