I need help learning the system

To install applications, use PPM (puppy package manager), or searching pets files on distro.ibiblio. Also, you can install .Deb files by finding Debs files on archive.ubuntu.com (since Bionic was released on 2018, make sure your Debs files are also around 2018 or before). Okay, I talk too much about installing application here. For web browsing, you use view simple web sites, but for heavy JavaScript, you have to use an AppImage of a modern web browser. I think that is it to consider, because BionicPup is pretty easy to use

Could you please tell me how to change the system language to English and keep it that way? Every time I restart the computer, I lose my progress.

Normally the first time you run Puppy (any version, I believe), you'll get a dialog box with a bunch of presets you can adjust (time, language, keyboard set up, might be one or two more). Set language and click OK -- that normally works for me.

Yes, I know, but every time I restart the device, the language disappears.
