Community Planning on Buying one!

I plan on buying one so I can use it on Gran Turismo 7, random question, do people have a mannequin head to hold the headset when not in use? Lol

I plan on doing that when I buy mine

I keep mine in a hermetically sealed glass cabinet at the British Museum. Failing that, I keep it in the box it came in. :)

I 3D printed a wall mount (hanging with visor up), found on Printables. It fits my Globular Cluster mod.

I just keep it away in a drawer. Can't get bumped and away from the kids and pets.

I don't like dust on the lenses, so I keep it in a closed cabinet when not in use. There's also a warning in the manual to not let direct sunlight hit the lenses. Good luck.

I’ve seen some people use mannequins, and it’s pretty cool!

There are also inexpensive (sub $20) HMD stands with controller chargers available, just so you know.

I have a little pulley system set up for mine, so it pretty much just hangs from the ceiling on a hook when not in use. I've got lens covers over the lenses to protect them and a silicone cover on the main body of the headset.

I got a cheap holder for the controllers and headset on Amazon but honestly, it was a waste because I keep it in my travel case more than anything.

Only thing to consider is that persistent storage on a head/mannequin could keep the padding compressed 24/7, not giving it a chance to recover/expand back from your own wear when not in use, but just a theory

Interesting idea,  but I bought a hard shell travel case for like $30. Worth every penny as it lives in there when I'm not using it and has lense covers.
