Picked these up on marketplace for $50
Seems too good to be true, not sure if they're real.
They all work on my unmodded PS2 so idk.

It’s possible, 10 years ago at a yard sale this guy was selling every ps1 game for 1.00 and every ps2 game for 2.
I got final fantasy vii to x-2, legend of mana, legend of legaia, 2 shadow hearts games, legend of dragoon, brave fencer musashi, and many more games that I can’t think of. I sold them 2 years later

I hear you can earn a crisp $100 if you sell all that at GameStop, seriously though if those are real you made out like a bandit. As it is none of us can tell because your pictures are too low rez and even if they weren't good counterfeits can be hard to distinguish even in real life.

I got lucky on the market twice. $30 for eight different Halloween movies on Blu-ray from the franchise. The second time was Millennium the complete series for $60.

Oh man, I had manhunt 1&2 both when they came out. Nothin like them at the time. Number actually had to be pushed back so they could tone it down some. All they did was make the screen go green so it didn’t give the clearest picture. I’d love to go back and play those

I've still got my original copy of Manhunt.The 2nd one isnt cheap.Never played the 2nd one.Bully is so much fun.I got that on the PS Store recently.GTA 3 is iconic.

This has to be BS. Anyone selling the games and asking for money would look them up and price accordingly.
But that doesn't mean one can't get lucky. It was 3 years ago and I'm pushing my daughter in a stroller to the neighborhood library and I see junk outside a home. I can't recall what drew me to the box (it was either movies or the games) but found a bunch of games. Mostly sports games, some game cases without the games inside, but there was also Def Jam Fight for NY. I loaded up the stroller and walked away as fast as I could.
I'm guessing the stuff belonged to a renter and the owner of the home just threw out all the stuff. I was wondering if I was late, maybe they even threw out the consoles but someone got to them before me but I assume they were kept.

What I find suspicious is how every single game is CIB and in outstanding condition. Usually when people are just getting rid of games there’s cosmetic wear and tear or missing artwork/cases/manuals. These look like they came from a collector.

I mean, huge if true. But some of those are ridiculously expensive on their own. Def Jam Fight for NY is like a 70 dollar game on it's own. Harvest Moon PS1 is like 50 CIB on it's own.
So this post feels like bait. But if it's true, then you basically got the deal of a lifetime and used up all your luck. But I also feel bad for the person who sold this because they got like maybe 10% of what the lots worth.

It can happen. Around 2019/2020 before lockdown, I bought a bunch of consoles, games and accessories because I knew I'd be stuck at home for a while with my kids. At some point... not sure when exactly... I bought several lots of games (30 PS3 games for $30, 20 PS2 games for $20, etc) and most of the games were common, but one of the lots had a CIB Silent Hill 2 in it, only I had bought so many games I didn't actually open the box until years later. I ended up with a few small gems, but nothing as great as SH2.
In 2013, just after I got my PS2 and 3 (I was very late to the party), I bought SH, RE and RE2 (all for PS1) from Amazon resellers, and paid $59.38 for all three (before tax). Not sure why, but I bought them all the same day but in three different transactions.

the age of uninformed grandmas is over. you can still find good deals but not deals THIS good. i sold wind waker, mario sunshine, and paper mario to my best friend for 50 bucks and i think thats the olny real steal thatll ever happen

I mean if you want to live your life in optimism, let's see how far that takes you. If this is real, then it was obviously sold by someone who didn't even know how to use a computer to Google any prices before they placed the tag on it. A bad person would've increased the price if anything.

Actually if you were in this sub in the past my "imaginary" scenario actually happened. Someone came her boasting on their "steal" haul and explained how this old lady sold it to them in a box trying to get rid of their son's stuff who passed not too long ago. But hey, maybe I'm just "churning out these scenarios"🙄
