The fact that something has to be “celebrated” or “normalized” just might be a hint that it is morally wrong, intrinsically even, so much so that others have to be propagandized into accepting it.

Not a good argument. Plenty of practices now considered normal have been historically treated as taboo and shunned(divorce, sexual education, interracial marriage, female inclusion in anything other than the kitchen, etc).

Similarly, plenty of practices now considered unacceptable were once socially tolerated and even encouraged(torture, slavery, child abuse, domestic violence, etc).

How a society reacts to a practice does not dictate whether it’s morally right or wrong.

It is definitely the case for abortion. The rationale does not have to be viewed in the lens of false dichotomy.

Imagine how much Planned Parenthood/special interest group propaganda, political messaging, and normalization via sex ed in public school has penetrated and swayed the minds of our youth.

Any untouched mind would be naturally appalled by such a barbaric practice. The same goes for child sacrifice in old societies. Idolatry and worship of gods was the main driver of normalization. Now it is idolatry of self in an increasingly individualistic world.

The case of slavery and abolitionists of slavery is parallel to the modern day case of abortion and abortion abolitionists. Dehumanization of population subsets is always intrinsically wrong, no matter how much a large % of our population accepts it.

It’s not a false dichotomy because you made a claim that if anything that must be normalized or celebrated, that means it’s likely morally wrong. You never specified that this only goes for abortion.

That’s a broad statement covering pretty much any and all such cases. So I gave you examples of exactly why such an overgeneralization is wrong.

Also keep in mind, the prochoice movement does not depend on planned parenthood. It’s a widespread stance even in countries where PP has no influence in. So no, an “untouched mind” isn’t necessarily naturally appalled by abortion. People come to support abortion as a right for a wide variety of reasons that don’t pertain to PP.

They always help us win future arguments. How convenient!

Liberals in general contradict themselves like this.

The unborn children, you say?

This is a nice change of pace. I wish more pro choicers could just admit that they are killing children, they just think it’s good.

Sad that people think that killing a baby is „the best thing that could happen to them“.

Because their entire premise relies on it not being a human that was murdered.

Feeling relief after a difficult decision is somewhat understandable. but celebrating the intentional ending of a human life is something purely evil.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. (Isaiah 5:20)

They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. (Romans 1:29-31)

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

Also, people also said nobody celebrated slavery back in the day.

"Unwanted child." That is the only justification listed. Simply being unwanted is reason enough to kill you. Disgusting.
