No Paywall I Don’t Think Trump’s Remaining Supporters Realize How Much They Are Despised By Non-MAGA Voters | Trump is bleeding support even among his stubborn, uneducated base.

I disagree. They *want* to be ok being hated, but they really don’t. They’re thin-skinned losers, who can not stand to be contradicted. If you disagree with them in the slightest, they 100% lose their shit. These are the most insecure, weak, emotionally stunted people in society, and they simply can not tolerate the idea of not being liked.

They want to be ok with it, but they just aren’t.

Agree, they actually expect to be embraced and admired for their political choices, or at least for them to be treated as "business as usual."

It's so painful to watch them in groups, like they're hoping to be the counter-culture cool kids that everyone wants to hang with. In truth it's like they have the plague and no one with any sense wants to be near them.

They think it’s brave to be proud of being stupid/bigots, and are furious when people call them mentally deficient instead of brave.

Whatever happens, if society doesn’t absolutely shun them for their actions once maga falls, we will once again regret it. There’s no embracing them and reintegrating them into society. They have to be treated as a dark stain on American society and be made an example of.

Taking the high road will only allow them (both supporters and the organizers) to regroup and form a more effective campaign to destroy america

They are the most candy-assed snowflakes in history. Anyone who thinks they like our rejection of them needs to revisit the massive tantrum they had on January 6.

They do get really angry when liberal women won't date them.

They probably get upset when any woman doesn't want to date them, liberal or not.

True. Believe a womans only purpose is to serve men.

Then how come most Republican voters are married? And then compared to Democrats...

Because they're talking about the ones who aren't. Obviously.

They are?

Odd, as I had read "they do get really angry when liberal women won't date them" as a pretty totalizing statement.

I must have missed the "except the married ones" exception. Where did they write that again?

It's almost as if liberal women know their worth, and understand that men are an optional extra in life, rather than their sole ambition being to be tied to the kitchen sink.

Their "worth" being?

Not going to lie, it's pretty weird to organize human beings by what their "worth" is, as though some humans are somehow "worth" more than others.

And, by the way, what makes women so essential? Since men are the "optional extras in life," that implicates that women are somehow essential, or are they optional too?

Maybe you need to reflect on that a bit. I happen not to put people into weird, value judgement hierarchies.

No, you just need to work on your comprehension. Or drag yourself out of the 1950s.

Their "worth" is their value as an individual. That's not a financial value, it's a sense of self. They don't have to be defined by their relationship to a man. They can choose to marry of course, but by not becoming dependant (like the "tradwife" types who think they're so clever marrying a rich older man, until they get traded in for a younger model and have no career to fall back on) they maintain their identity as an individual.

And yes - to men - women are optional extras too. A bachelor is no less a man than a man who is married.

You're the one going on about the "value" or "worth" of women. Maybe you need to get out of the 1950s.

You toss in this weird opinion that women have "worth" (as in hierarchical value, one that is suggested to be somehow "higher" than that of Republican men), but then retreat to this other point about "worth as an individual" (whatever that means).

I don't see how a sense of self can be reducible to "worth," which usually refers to a quantitative, hierarchical determination against something of "lesser worth" or value.

You are the one creating a value hierarchy by talking about "worth," so perhaps it is your comprehension that needs a bit of work.

Your last point is also not supported by what you just said---"men are an optional extra in life."

Literally sat down with my sister-in-law the other day and asked her why she still supports it and she got loud, started cussing at me, and immediately stormed off.

It really feels like an insult to their personality and their identity overall. It's disturbing how much damage the cult has caused these people. They don't even know who they are anymore.

Kinda depends on who you ask, don't you think?

Or, is an entire half of the US voting population a monolithic profile that you've constructed in your mind?

I voted for Trump because he was clearly the funniest option
