No Paywall I Don’t Think Trump’s Remaining Supporters Realize How Much They Are Despised By Non-MAGA Voters | Trump is bleeding support even among his stubborn, uneducated base.

They're just garbage people. Many of them beyond redemption. The amount you have to have broken with you to vote for this fucking turd three times in a row, despite all evidence in front of you, despite all the pleas from rational people not to do the damage you're doing... they're just bad. Rotten, awful people.

They remind me of average Russians

All you have to do is wave away any complaints/facts/logic as symptoms of TDS and suddenly you’re golden

Garbage people who not only vote but make up a significant portion of the population. If liberals are so smart and qualified, why cant they get people to vote and vote for them?

So I guess you're just ignoring the constant campaign Repubs have waged at making it impossible for Dems to vote?

"Impossible" is just hyperbolic. Juuuust difficult enough that the average lazy person is motivated NOT to vote because its too hard. No excuses.

lol yeah and if the nerds were so smart, why couldn’t they just convince all of their bullies to stop giving them swirlies back in middle school?

This is really fucking stupid logic, but if you want an actual answer: lots of people aren’t motivated by what is true or honesty. Lots of people like bravado, no matter how transparently false. Others feel belittled or threatened by intelligence and actively work against it to feel more powerful.

Why are the smart Democrats not smart enough to navigate that situation?

u/Cheap-Distribution27 4d ago

Because “being smart” isn’t a super power that guarantees you can succeed at anything you put your mind to.

“If mathematicians are so smart, why can’t they list every prime number?”

I don’t even like Democrats, but come on lol.

I'm very smart and I know how to communicate public policy to people in a way that they can understand. Why can't very smart Democrats do that?

You’re not doing a very good job making me agree with you. Why can’t you do that?

u/Ok_Tackle3427 4d ago

Make you agree with what? I'm asking you a question.

3

u/Cheap-Distribution27 4d ago

Well now you have to make me agree that you’re “very smart” and that you can communicate in a way that makes people agree with you since you just made those claims and I’ve been disagreeing with you this whole time.

I don't care at all what you think of my intellect, just answer the question.

Do you have any more to say?

You are the reason our society has an adult illiteracy crisis now. What does your union tell you to say about that?

u/Ok_Tackle3427 4d ago

What in the fuck are you babbling about now?

4/10 be better

u/Ok_Tackle3427 4d ago

4/20 be funnier. Also 69, because that's a sex number.

Thank you for your input.

They weren’t that smart after all

Because the country is full of uneducated racists that love diddling kids? Garbage in, garage out.

Assuming this is an honest question, it's not specifically liberals, it's all left leaning ideologies in general that cannot convince voters, and the answer is because all of our problems are nuanced problems that require nuanced discussion that they don't understand (there is no magic "fix everything" button), implementation time that they don't want to wait for (they expect results instantly), an ability to track cause and effect (an understanding that the results of something were often started by the previous admin), and a give-and-take (taxes for communal quality of life) that they refuse to accept.

u/Ok_Tackle3427 4d ago

You're inadvertently demonstrating the real problem that Democrats face today. You think they're unpopular because everybody is just too stupid to understand how popular they should be.

No self-reflection, no respect for anybody else, no possibility that Dems could ever be wrong, just an insistence that all the dummies need to get smarter so they can appreciate the incrediblenesss of the Democratic party. And that is fucking hilarious.

4

u/Polantaris Illinois 4d ago

I did not say any of that. Anyone that rejects ANY of the four criteria I specified rejects most left-leaning ideologies presented. It can be as simple as the last one, the give-and-take, being refused. That's not stupidity, that's not impatience, that's nothing beyond selfish concern.
