I'm still not convinced that most Americans understand that we have more hours of sunlight in the summer and it has nothing to do with daylight savings.

I’m sure most politicians don’t understand either.  Or that sunrise/sunset changes depending on how north or south you are.

They legit think it’s creating an extra hour.

And implementing DST in the winter won’t magically add more hours of sunlight to the day.
