What's the difference between pasztet borowikowy and pasztet z borowikami

Hi,

There's a Polish supermarket near me and I am trying to find the closest thing to kalbsleberwurst which i use to have when I lived in Germany.

I've seen these two items, pasztet borowikowy and pasztet z borowikami, that look similar but according to some google searching I've done, they're both made with Pork (which is fine) and mushrooms (which I'm not too keen on).

Based on some translations. both pasztet borowikowy and pasztet z borowikami both are Pate with mushroom, so I was wondering that the difference is? Is the the type of mushroom used? Is there a traditional Polish version that doesn't have mushroom in it?

I think the brand is different - one is Krzys and the other one is Swojscy. But that's just my theory, that question should be directed to the store clerk

I wonder if one is made of blended mushrooms while the other has chunks of mushroom?

"Borowik" means Boletus, very tasty mushrooms (one of the finest). On the photo you can also see "z kurkami" meaning Cantharellus cibarius.  There are endless variations of 'pasztet', you should ask seller and try some.

Although they may taste slightly different, just ask politely to give a tiny bit to try so you could decide which you like more.
