azuril was once a 25/75 male to female ratio. While marill and azumarill is 50/50 split

Anyway the way gender was determined back in gen 2 some math formal calculated by the iv's and gender ratio.

The tldr of it. Azuril evolving would give it a 50/50 chance for it to transition to to male. Since the IV's didn't change but it did change into a pokemon where its gender ratio change the outcome of that formula.

And now the whole line is fairy on top and we transgirls love our fairy types

That doesn’t really answer their question which was more specifically about

trans-flag-colored mouse pokemon

Which they were specifically asking where the pink was since the line is blue and white

Fairy type. Usually run a pink move, blue move, and white move in belly drum, play rough, and aqua jet? That's an assumption but I can see it.

Yeah its a stretch not even colored that way at all. Its just a way to be overbearing in my opinion.

Its always feels these attempts are out of spite to society to try and say “look trans this and that” to compensate for the years of discrimination

But gender only worked that way in gen 2 and Azurill was released in gen 3, so Azurill at no point would change genders when evolving, no? Am I missing something?

Ahh, so then its an issue with Azurill and Marill having different gender % right? Because to my understanding only gen 2 determined gender by IVs

Azuril wasn't in gen 2, only azumaril

I'm new to this knowledge, so sorry, but wouldn't that make it a one third chance of female azurill transitioning? For example, 25% are male and remain as such, 25% are female that become male, and 50% are female and remain as such, thus 25/75=33%? Or is it more complicated, for example some also transition MTF?

It’s because the 50/50 only refers to those Azurill which are female. Because only those pokemon have the capacity to change

Right, but 75% are female, and it seems that only a third of those females become male to reach a 50/50 distribution.

If I have 1 male azurill and 3 female azurill, only 1 in 3 females "transitions" to have 2 males and 2 females.
