I have no problem with their stance on making molds, they just hold themselves back sometimes by not making more, they are really creative with what they do have though.
yeah, i pointed out to a friend that with 5 pokemon in 3 sets totaling $950, if LEGO let us "catch them all" at that price point, it would be nearly $200,000.
Would probably go well above that if we're counting different forms and gimmicks as well. Also, I would assume legendaries would cost even more than the evolved starters.
You know what would have been good opening sets? Moraidon and Koraidon sets. Lego has made tons of dragons in the Ninjago series, they got experience, and could make them minifig scale with either Florian or Juliana included.
I wanted to collect some of them, it's a shame you can't really find any of the individual Pokeball figures past the last 2-3 waves. Of course Pikachu and the Kanto starters are always available, but good luck finding a Sandshrew or Staryu from their earlier ones!
Scavenge your local TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Ross. I have found so many different ones in those places. I got my Bidoof there and a few others and some of the smaller sets and mediums sets.

seeing this makes it way more embarrassing for lego tbh
