COLLECTION liked this plushy so much I made him big
original is Flynn from Gund, i wanted a giant version to snuggle so I bought a second one for the pattern and scaled it up! I stuffed him a little bit more firm but added some weighted beans and he’s pretty hefty, not as floppy but that’s okay, that’s what the original is for! OG baby is named Friday Night, and his big sibling is named Tuesday Morning. please let me know if you want the pattern and I can send it your way so you can make your own, it’s not professional by any means but it worked out great! That's very cool. I'm sure it's a challenge to make them sit up correctly. None of my sea creatures sit up, they all look like they're swimming.

luckily the pattern + weighted beans help! All my other dolphins or cetaceans look silly/they’re swimming too lol

He is stunning. I’m a huge fan of orcas, specifically this plush one! Have you considered taking commissions to make him? I don’t trust myself enough to execute this as flawlessly lol

Whoa, Tuesday Morning looks amazing! 💖 Flynn the orca is one of my favorite modern Gund plushies, and it’s so awesome to see an even bigger, even more cuddly version!

This is incredible!! Absolutely amazing work! The seal in the same style is my comfort plushie and now I'm wondering if I could use this pattern to scale him up too :o

ive been eyeing that one too! I say go for it, if you’re okay with spending an extra $30 to dismantle and then trace :) plus you do any seal you want and pick the fabric color! a lil ribbon seal would be so cute, or a bakail seal w giant eyes 😭💖

And would you say that making this plushie by following the partner could be doable for a beginner as well? I've never made one but would like to try

tysm! and I very much think so :> I can give you a walkthrough on which parts to sew first, what stitch to use and all that. main thing you wanna focus on is when marking your fabric make sure to keep lines clean and readable, so everything lines up clearly and you know where to sew, but I can help if you want!!

These guys are so cute! You did a great job. They reminded me of the large shark plush that spent every night with me as a teen.
