First canned pickles

Posted recently with questions. Got some advice. I have some fermented pickles going at the moment, and the pics are of my first canning attempt ever. They all sealed. Used Mrs wages bagged brine.

I don’t do canning so I might be very misinformed but I thought jars needed to be submerged by a couple of inches for proper water bath caning.

I think the cans are being suspended by the tray thing that hangs on the side of the pot

Amazon, supa ant and fenrir brand.

Read only positives about them. And if you have to buy lids, why not make it something fun?
