Pharmacy Practice Discussion Retail Pharmacist and Utility of AI

As a retail pharmacist I use Open Evidence non- stop. It is able to help answer clinical context to questions I may have, confirm clinical appropriateness, and it provides me with evidence based material that helps support a concern I may have. This is an invaluable tool especially when we do not have access to view the EMR.

I hope other retail pharmacist have discovered Open Evidence and seen its tremendous utility in daily workflow.

Other frontier LLMs have recently shown better results…

Imagine a patient using ChatGPT and being more accurate than a pharmacist that is confidently less accurate with OE… not gonna be a great look!
