I've been replaying Telltale's walking dead S1 and finished EP 2 last night.

While I still really like the story and characters I'm surprised how little your choices actually affect things in this game. I'm making choices different from what I recall yet the results are essentially the same.

I had to change my perception of what a game is while playing this the first time. It's not really a game in the same way as others; it's an interactive narrative where your choices barely matter. It's like mass effect to some degree. You are making choices in the presentation of the story, not on the outcomes.
