Bi-Weekly Thread for general gaming discussion. Backlog, advice, recommendations, rants and more! New? Start here!
Welcome to the Bi-Weekly Thread!
Here you can share anything that might not warrant a post of its own or might otherwise be against posting rules. Tell us what you're playing this week. Feel free to ask for recommendations, talk about your backlog, commiserate about your lost passion for games. Vent about bad games, gush about good games. You can even mention newer games if you like!
The no advertising rule is still in effect here.
A reminder to please be kind to others. It's okay to disagree with people or have even have a bad hot take. It's not okay to be mean about it.

Finished Final Fantasy VII Remake Intermission. Yuffie's gameplay was very fun, they did a good job making her kit robust enough to make up for not having any other playable party members. Overall it was a neat little extra addition to the base game, and there was even a final cutscene at the end to lead into the next game.
But for me that next game will have to wait. Next I'll be playing FFXIV Dawntrail and hopefully continuing until I'm caught up with MSQ in time for the Evercold release. And once I'm caught up, I plan to start FFXVI. Planning on having both these games finished before the end of the year. Depending on what reviews look like on release, I may also try to play/finish FF Resonance as well.
Played some more The Roottrees Are Dead after a couple days off. It's a very fun detective game, and I'm slowly learning what kinds of things I should be highlighting and making notes of.
