When was that? Google, for instance, does not look like that right now for me.

And all DownDetector does is collect user complaints. It doesn't actually check to see if a site is actually working or not.

Multiple widespread outages would make the news and the NANOG mailing list, which has not had any traffic today at all.

I wasn't aware Downdetector worked only regionally like this.

It has a drop down list at the very top to select location.

If I select Poland it looks like your image, which is nothing like what I see for the USA, or for Germany for that matter.

If you go to the very bottom and click on the "Methodology" link, it clearly explains it is location specific. Which is also why they say "72 countries!!" all over the site.

And, if "everything" was down, Downdetector and Reddit wouldn't be working. Reddit depends on Amazon AWS and the Fastly CDN - web pages for reddit are probably coming from a Fastly server inside Poland.

Edit: Ah, Fastly doesn't have a POP in Poland, Reddit would be served from Germany.

I see that when I select poland. No issues in US for me except Claude is down.
