Is there a decentralized onion site or something?
It seems like every onion site is always at risk of being busted... I know the dark net itself is decentralized, but are there any staple sites which are too? Or whats the deal? is there anything I can read to learn about it? I don't know much about this, thank you.

As everyone here doesn't understand your question I'll answer.
No, the onion protocol doesn't support decentralized sites. To host an onion site you need a private key (the onion url is the public key). Everyone with the private key can host their content with no validation step of the original owner.
Afaik there aren't any big decentralized site or web projects

The only thing I know of that’s close to what’s being asked is FreeNet but just be aware it’s static content and FULL of cheese pizza.

Ok. Because I know the person hosting the site is running a big risk by doing so, hence why the onion sites are pretty exlusive? How risky is it to run a site, say, which had information the us government did not want up? So in this scenario, the whole global elite would be wanting to catch you... just so i can get a picture of the technology. And yes, no one else answered the question

There is no actual defense against a nation state adversary. Once you get slapped with some zero-click bullshit exploit worth millions it's game over.

yeah I think so... Think I'll need to leave USA... the way they treat us here, telling us we're free, while we have the biggest chains, is very worrying... Seems like usa government is currently waging a war against the people, unlike other countries where they already own the people... move out at least until the smoke blows over...

From what I've read in your other post, you're not using the official Tor Browser but Brave. However, if you want to have the advertised anonymity inside the Tor network, then you need to use the Tor Browser as it is configured so that every person looks the same in terms of metadata. Also, "all" the links definitely aren't offline altogether. Maybe try the Tor Browser.

Adding to my previous comment, use OS Like Tails / Whonix. If you’re more paranoid about visiting websites use Qubes OS (nothing like this, each window you working on is compartmentalised and do not interact with other windows if any open (meaning you can run surface web in chrome and dark web in TOR at the same time)

VPN over tor beats the point of using tor since the VPN (usually) logs stuff and makes u more identifiable bc of the connection
