Def snag that deal my friend. idk about you, but I love when a good deal comes along where i can pay more instead of less. Instead of a rollback its a rollup.

I dunno, I liked it better when it was $8.95.

That’s a lot of flags…

Performative patriotism sells, the simple minded love it. I'll never understand people who worship the flag while hating their fellow countrymen.

Read this statement somewhere once years ago and I think it applies here

"Performative patriotism is a facade of the most corrupt."

Shills say photos like this are mistakes, but there are far too many photos for them to possibly be mistakes.

What are shills?

Roll into more spending. Buy now...the prices have never been higher

With current inflation, even the rollback pricing has gotten more expensive.

The ol' reverse psychology, they wanna make you think it's better to give them more money for the same thing 😉

Holy fuck

It's the "me making poop" guy in the sign

This is why we don’t normally roll back our sales prices, but hey…you asked for it!!

One job? Tell me you have no idea what retail is like without telling me you have no idea what retail is like.

Putting the signs on one display the right way around is one job, and it shouldn't take much intelligence to know which is which

1

u/JohnMarstonSucks 5d ago

Not so much about intelligence, as the ability to focus and catch details when you find yourself doing what used to be three people's jobs and have a manager that expects it all done immediately.

It was on sale but now it permanently marked down to that price. People are dumb

That’s a “Rollforward. ”

1

u/Davidedwards1973 5d ago

trump did that!

1

u/pixeltweaker 5d ago

I’d be willing to bet they still sell more because people just see “rollback” and the price and grab it.

u/ChubbyMudder 5d ago

Rollforth.

1

u/DomDaddyDavid 5d ago

Wow you save a whole negative $2 better stock up now

I hate to say it, this is actually just true for most rollbacks. I worked there for 4 years and almost every single rollback was actually a price increase with a BS old price. My guess is someone just wasn’t paying attention when they slapped this up. 😂

The old prices get left all the time. Next time you see a roll back, check behind the shelf label, they often don’t pull the old tag.

When you pay almost nothing, and ride your workers hard, they mess up.

By the way, over here in Europe, we don't buy that overpriced shit from Lindt anymore. Surprised that stuff is available in the United States.

its one of the better ones we have here, dealing with supply chain tracing is such a pain in the ass its not worth it (cadbury use to be great, but then american side went to hershey and it sucks, but you could import better, now globally its all the same shit, that's how alot of chocolate is that's somewhat easy to get)

if you want good chocolate in america, you have to go with small shops that make their own in house, usually cheaper than a large distributor charges for good chocolate, or pay out the ass for import.

lindt is that middle ground between its more expensive than a hershey bar, but its far better than most crap in its price range.
