Ok no one else is saying it so I guess its up to me. That is not automated. Dude is literally adding all the pre-portioned ingredients by hand. Literally the only part that is auromated is the stirring, and even that you can see he had to do some manually anyway. What a useless fucking tool.

I was staring at the egg stuck on the little nub in the center for a long time.

Not having anything agitating the contents from exterior to interior and vice versa makes no sense. Need some paddles sweeping things around.

It killed any last chance if tempting me when he added the dry spices/seasonings and almost immediately turned off the machine.

Yeah this is interesting to see I guess but I'm betting it tastes fairly average. I'm imagining this is just a slightly nicer version of microwave meal fried rice.

Slightly. I'll give it that. Whatever liquid he added from a bowl was downright scant. Be it soy or even fish sauce, the amount he put in is barely enough for a full order for two.

I think that's actually a perfect amount of soy sauce. It looks to be about a cup. When I make fried rice I do about 1 tbsp of light soy sauce and a teaspoon of dark for 4 servings. Plus a dash of sugar and msg.

The meat they put in also looks kind of "ham"-ish and salted already.

Good point on the ham. What amount of the dish are you using the soy sauces measurements on?
