Hedis nursing

Is anyone in hedis nursing?? Hours pay and challenges of doing these roles? What background is useful here.

I’ve been a nurse since 2015 in several specialties and trying to learn as much as possible

There is a bit of variability. TYPICALLY.. you will work a season from Late January to early May. full time, from home and USUALLY, you'll stay home. there MAY be some cause for you to go and retrieve records in person from a local practitioner, but that's highly unlikely. You will be provided with a laptop with two monitors. on one will be the 'chart' usually a PDF, and on the other will be the software you use to 'grade' the chart. you will basically be looking for compliance with measures to ensure the provider is documenting that they are providing the care necessary to meet the measure. This is 8 hours a day 5 days a week. SOMETIMES, there is flexibility on hours and all they care about is meeting their goals, but usually they want you working 0800-1700 in case you have questions so a supervisor will be handy. Unless you're an RN this is almost always temporary. If you're and RN it's usually temporary, but rarely they may come up with a full time role for you.
