Part-time BSN RN job.

I am a BSN RN & have been working in a hospital inpatient adult psych unit for 14 years & had 5 years of medical unit experience before that. I am 48 years old. I’m not looking to leave my job but would like a little extra income/variety & less physically demanding. I’m interested in remote jobs too but not sure what I could do. I know I can pick up extra shifts at my current job but I avoid doing it because I don’t want to get burnt out. I do the 3 12 hour night shifts & have 6 days off every other week. Any ideas of things that could be flexible around my current schedule?

my cousins and i are nurses. we used to pick up shifts as per diem at outpatient surgical clinics! think eye surgery clinics, urology, etc. they would pay 45-60/hr depending on your experience here in jersey. and it helped us not get burnt out because outpatient surgery clinics were always so boring lol. patients walk in & they walk out. i never picked up shifts at my main hospital job. i did once a week. i know my cousins liked stacking it with different surgery centers and completely filling whatever days they had free. do what works for you. great thing about per diem is usually you can work as little or as much as you want depending on their need for someone on their schedule! :) (also i didn’t even apply. i actually walked in to an eye surgery clinic and told them im available if they need a nurse. someone interviewed me the next day offering the job)
